Sunday, November 15, 2009I've spent the entire weekend emersed in Dante's Hell, (and his Purgatory and his Paradise) but I did take a study break to walk to the Piazza where a Medieval festival was being held in celebration of the 700 year anniversary of Siena's constitution. It's not every day that you find an old-fashioned market full of leatherbound books, homemade desserts, knitted wool clothing, and extremely pungent cheese.
